Narrow single-trunked palm with an attractive ringed trunk, turning from green to grey with age.  

A very common indoor palm, as it doesn't require much sunlight, and is relatively tolerant of neglect and air conditioning.

Looks its best when grown in light shade, but can handle sunlight once established.
