Our client for this project requested two palms, each with a 4m trunk size. After lengthy discussions, it was decided that they were to be Canary Island Date Palms.

The Canary Island Date Palms (Phoenix canariensis) each weighed 8t., with a trunk size of 4m.

Phoenix canariensis is very large, growing to ~20m, and is relatively fast-growing once established. Its all-round hardiness makes it a great choice for a range of positions.

The palms blended in with the strong architectual lines of the building; overall, the installed palms have added considerable value to the property.

Access was not a problem for Arbornet. We used mobile cranes, making the installation light work.
